Soopakorn Srisakul

'Mistress' or the culture of Thailand's Ladyboys ; Soopakorn Srisakul. Photographer, insider and born in Thailand, Soopakorn Srisakul followed his transgender girlfriend in her daily routine, resulting in this revealing series. Most of them work in department stores, hotel receptions and in Bangkok's Nana district bars. Even in a tolerating Thai society they face a difficult life.
By now we all are acquainted with the term 'Ladyboy', and whatever your thoughts on the subject..."They go out working, come back to their room, go relaxing outside, occasionally go back to visit family in the countryside, and then go to work. They, like anyone else, just try to get by. They laugh for joy, cry for sorrow, they work to earn a living, and they have an argument with their boyfriend, just like anyone else. In this sense, what makes them so different from us as to warrant a harsh treatment from the moral society, and do they deserve it at all?"; Soopakorn Srisakul (Via Feature Shoot)

Itsuki Takashi

"Amputee Robot Doll Bondage"a series of drawings by the obscure artist Itsuki Takashi dates back to the 80s. Hard to find any information on this Manga-artist, but this series was published in 'Bizarre' (in 1986) a Japanese magazine. To some he is the inventor of this kind of fashion in the Manga world, it might well be. Erotic, Gothic and certainly kinky, probably not warmly received by everybody back in the 80s. Itsuki Takashi produced another manga 'Yoso no Himutsu'  (“Secret of the Worm”), which is almost impossible to find, Itsuki seems to be vanished from this world....

Ramona Zordini

Ramona Zordini lives and works in Brescia, Italy. 'Changing Times' is a three folded series, sensual aesthetic pictures of the human body submerged in water. Struggling and twirling, the water becomes a beautiful canvas revealing only a well chosen moment of a larger story. What or whoever these models are struggling with, results in beautiful, erotic sculptures.

Carlo Alberto Rusca

A research about reality and visual identity, "Ultracorpo ciclo 1" is a fascinating production awarded 'Honorable Mention in Nude at Monochrome awards' in London, 2015. Carlo Alberto Rusca was born in Italy, but lives in Switzerland. Carlo Alberto Rusca developed a method to portay the human body in an almost scientific way, revealing the unique pattern of the blood veins, a natural tattoo.
A modified camera captures invisible light frequencies, the skin becomes translucent and pale. At first glance it feels strange and confusing, before it gets kind of familiar and natural.

Nathalie Daoust

'Tokyo Hotel Story' is a Canadian photographer Nathalie Daoust's latest project. Nathalie Daoust created several conceptual projects, exploring the undefinable realm between truth, fantasy and the human desire of escapism.
With 'Tokyo Hotel Story' she takes us inside the walls of the 'Alpha Inn', one of the big SM love  hotels in Japan. Every room breathes a different atmosphere, an escape from reality into a fantasy world of bondage and latex. Nathalie captures a world beyond taboos while staying in the Alpha in for several months. Maybe a perverted scene to some, but it's all about human desire and exploration. 39 ladies, specialised equipment and private rooms, the Alpha Inn is a portal to sexual excesses and fantasies, mostly to an elite clientele though....
