Renée Munn

Most of her works are large photographic collages of women, fragmented and manipulated into a beautiful multi dimensional story.

As a photographer Munn is interested in the expressive possibilites of the medium. In her work she explores numerous analogue and traditional darkroom techniques such as double and triple exposure, photogram's, cliché verre and combination printing to alter her figures and create a single image that is both real and imagined. Her collages are finished painted with beeswax and oil paint and are exhibited unframed and tangible.

Ed Ross

Tintypes by Ed Ross. Wet plate is experiencing a revival (as are other alternative photographic processes) in this digital era, and it gives great results. Ed Ross uses blackened aluminium plates instead of glass ones, as they are cheaper and more durable.
The wet plate process is a low sensitive one, resulting in shallow depth of field images. Most of his work is sensual, erotic and a bit vintage. Next to nudes and portraits Ed Ross also does wet plate landscapes.

Evgeny Mokhorev

Evgeny Mokhorev is a Russian photographer, In 1987, Evgeny joined the famous Leningrad photo club "Zerkalo" or "Mirror". His black and white images take us into the troubled and fragile world of teenagers and children. "Coming of age" and "emerging sexual identity" are major themes in his outstanding work that stirred up some controversy. Most of his models are thin and undernourished as they come from Russians edge of society, photographed in their natural environment.

Ji Yeo

'Draw on me' series

'Draw on me' and 'Beauty recovery room' two series with a similar message by Ji Yeo. She is based in Brooklyn where she pursued her master's degree in photography, after graduating from Seoul's  National University. Seoul, South Korea that is.
Whatever way you look at it, it is disturbing that people believe in a way of live that put looks above character. And we fall into the trap of the advertising media enforcing this way of life endlessly.
Ji Yeo states; "Plastic surgery has become an integral part of Korea’s current culture, often regarded as a integral step in the in self improvement process. Going under the knife, enduring bruises, scars, and being under general anesthetic several times are no longer considered risky or extravagant."

Constantine Gedal

Contemporary Russian artist Constantine Gedal's photographic work is timeless. Reality manipulated into a frozen moment. Strangely peaceful compositions, yet full of emotions and memories. form, light and content are all equally important in Gedal's images.
