"Life wanders, but memories remain"; from the artist's note.
'an old midday'
Korean artist
Lee Jin ju's paintings are curious and strange. Floating little landscapes scattered with objects reborn from negative memories and events. Her paintings are soft and delicate, a lot of things seem to be out of place and incomplete. Her Quest to figure out in what way memories survive or what the boundaries are between memories, dreams and conscience, is recorded in these extraordinary paintings.
