Dominic Rouse
Contemporary photographer Dominic Rouse, born in England, creates monochrome digital compositions. After a short career as a press photographer, he returned to college studying commercial and advertising photography.
By deconstructing and reconstructing the human form he creates interesting, fantasy images with a bit of a baroque feel.
Dominic; "It’s really a waste of time for me to spend hours meticulously lighting and composing each shot, because I have so much more control in the computer." (sic)
In his statement Dominic Rouse says; "Morality is a disease peculiar to humans and at its worst human life is not tragic but unmeaning."
